NRVSS is a name drawn from "nerves," the pathways that carry sensation and impulse through the body.
An impulse has no shape of its own. It passes through and disappears, often smoothed over before it can be understood. NRVSS exists to catch it before that happens, and give it a form that remains.
This is what "GHOST CAST IN INGOT" refers to: something formless, like a ghost, given weight and shape in metal. The small variations this leaves on each piece are kept rather than corrected, marking the moment an impulse took physical form.
As monuments record history, and gravestones carry names, NRVSS leaves a physical trace of what once moved through the body, not made for consumption, but to remain.
